Summer Placements @ AstraZeneca

AstraZeneca, the pharmaceutical company, is offering a range of industrial placements and summer internships to students studying for a full-time university degree. More than 100 placements and internships are available.

Places are available in most departments, from sale to science and in between. Typically opportunities are based at the company sites in Leicestershire, Cheshire and Bristol and others. Placements are available for I T students who are looking for a year in industry as part of their university course. These placements will start in summer 2006 and last for one year. The salary for students on placements is approx. £13,500 per year.

AstraZeneca says that taking a placement or internship greatly increases the chances of gaining employment with them upon graduation.
